For investors
Every name you follow, read overnight. One brief before the open.
Add the companies and tickers you track, each with a note on why. Readster follows the news on every one, reads what they file with the SEC, and merges it with the newsletters, feeds and podcasts you already follow — one cited brief each morning, ranked against your watchlist.
No credit card. Add a few tickers — coverage starts that night.
Your watchlist brings its own coverage
Add a ticker or a company and Readster starts following the news on it that night — per-company headlines and wider news coverage, no feeds to hunt down. Write a note ("watching gross margin", "CFO transition") and ranking follows it.
Filings read, not just listed
For US-listed companies, Readster watches SEC EDGAR and reads what a filing says: the items of an 8-K and the press release attached to it, the management's discussion in a 10-Q or 10-K. The brief's Filings section reports what changed, with a link to the filing.
Earnings season, merged
The results release, the write-ups of the call and the market podcasts you follow become one entry with every source cited — not twenty headlines about the same quarter.
Alerts that stay quiet
Instant emails for material filings on the names you track (on by default; switch them off in Settings → Brief), capped per day and at most one per company every 12 hours. Insider and holdings forms go to the morning brief, never to your phone. Turn on SEC keyword alerts for a topic and Readster also searches the full text of new material filings for it.
An example watchlist
Each entry is a topic, company, person or organization, with a note on why it matters to you. Coverage comes with it.

- Rate-path expectationsTopicwhat the next two meetings are priced for
- GLP-1 pricingTopicpayer pushback and list-price cuts

What it won't do
- No licensed broker research, call transcripts or price data — it reads public filings, news coverage and the sources you subscribe to.
- SEC coverage is for US-listed companies; other markets get news coverage only.
- It is not investment advice, and it makes no buy or sell calls. Check the filing before you act.
