Podcasts can be found by name instead of by feed URL.
Podcasts transcribed, filings read
New episodes from the podcasts you follow are transcribed, and what matters lands in the brief's podcast section, cited to the episode. YouTube videos are read from their captions where a video has them. SEC filings are read rather than just listed: an 8-K's items and its attached press release, the management's discussion in a 10-Q or 10-K.
Your watchlist brings its own coverage
Every topic, company or person on your watchlist now brings its own news coverage — no feeds to find first. Setup starts with the watchlist, and briefs read natively in all seven brief languages: section titles and the closing line follow the language you chose.
YouTube channels by handle
Add a YouTube channel by its @handle instead of hunting for a channel ID.
Library, connections and your data
The Library puts keyword and semantic search over everything you've ingested, alongside Ask. Settings → Connections lets an AI assistant read your archive over MCP with a token you can rotate. The new data-export policy spells out what you can take with you and when it's deleted.
Dashboard beta
The dashboard is live for trial and paid accounts: brief archive, timeline pages, semantic and full-text search across your own archive, watchlist management, source management (OPML upload, private newsletter address, sender confirmation), timezone settings, and a usage page for on-demand AI.
First production brief
The pipeline generated its first real morning brief end to end: feeds, newsletters and filings in — one deduplicated, cited brief out, with every item linking back to its sources and a closing tally. We've been reading our own briefs every morning since.
Launch
readster.ai is live: landing page, pricing, 30-day free trial (no credit card), and checkout. Source support at launch: RSS/Atom via one-click OPML import, email newsletters via a private @in.readster.ai address, and SEC EDGAR monitoring for US-listed companies.
