The honest read
Among RSS readers, Inoreader is the one we respect most for research work. It ingests feeds and email newsletters alike, its rules and filters can mute noise automatically, and monitoring feeds track keywords across sources. For roughly $10 a month, no reader gives you more control.
The difference is who does the work. Inoreader hands you excellent machinery — you design the folders, write the rules, tune the filters, and then read what comes through, item by item. Readster inverts that: you declare a watchlist with notes ("watching their capex", "short thesis on inventory") and the pipeline does the clustering, ranking, and writing. The output isn't a cleaner list of articles; it's one cited narrative brief that ends.
On filings, the gap is scope.
