Your data is yours: what you can export, when, and exactly what happens after you cancel.

You've seen beloved tools shut down with barely enough time to get your data out. Readster's export policy exists so you never have to trust us on this — you can check it, in writing, and act on it in one click.
What you can export
From your dashboard, at any time:
- Sources — your full source list as OPML (feeds, podcasts, YouTube channels, Bluesky accounts) plus your newsletter senders.
- Archive — everything you've ingested, in a machine-readable format.
- Briefs — every brief you've received.
- Watchlist — entries and your notes.
No support ticket, no waiting period, no export fee.
While you subscribe
Export is always available. This includes the free trial — trial accounts export everything exactly like paid ones.
If you cancel
- Your export access stays fully available for 90 days after cancellation.
- After the 90-day window, we delete your archive, as promised in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Want deletion sooner? Email [email protected] from your account address and we'll delete immediately.
If Readster ever shuts down
We commit to keeping export available for at least 90 days from any shutdown announcement. This commitment survives beta status, pivots, and bad quarters — it's the floor, not a goal.
